How does it Work?
Members receive a monthly newsletter jam-packed with information about club events:
Dances, meals, theatre, cinema and music performances, sports nights, hillwalks, plus weekends away and holidays abroad.
You name it, we try it.
How will I benefit from joining the Club?
- Gain a new circle of single friends
- Get a ready-made social life
- Try different types of activities
- Have more opportunities to have fun
- Increase your chances of meeting someone special
Where is it?
Weekly bar nights are held every Tuesday.
We have exclusive use of Harry's Bar,
7b Randolph Place, between 8.30-11.30pm.
We usually have over 100 members meeting
for a drink and a chat.
The night is free and for members only.
How many members does the club have?
Over 300, with about 47% men and 53% women.
Ages range from 30 to 79,
but most in their mid-40s to mid- 50s.
Will I be left alone on my first night?
Absolutely not!
You will meet all the new members and we will introduce you to other members as well.
Is Single Connection a Dating Agency?
No, but we do have a Computer Matching Service that lets you know if your interests match with some of our current club members'.
Single Connection is better than a dating agency as it is a more natural way of meeting people.
We provide the setting and you have all the fun without any pressure of a ‘first date’.
